Irwin Tool 500 Tickets buy today at headlinetickets.com
The Irwin Tool 500 is one of two NASCAR events at Bristol Motor Speedway, but is easily the most popular of the two. The stock car race takes place at night, leading to it's more commonly used name - the Irwin Tools Night Race. Irwin Tools 500 tickets are regarded as the most difficult tickets to obtain in all of sports. It's not uncommon for fans to be forced to join a waiting list before getting their tickets each year. Luckily, HeadlineTickets.com still has tickets available for this year's Irwin Tool 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway on a first-come, first-served basis and for a limited time only.
The first Irwin Tool 500 took place in 1961, which Jack Smith and Johnny Allen won. Over its long history, the Irwin Tools Night Race has been dominated by two American manufacturers, Chevrolet and Ford, who have claimed 20 and 17 wins, respectively. The 2005 through 2010 editions of the Irwin Tool 500 race were dominated by three drivers, who each won two consecutive races through the six year period. These racers were Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, and Kyle Busch. This year's Irwin Tool 500 is scheduled to begin on August 24th, 2013 only about three months after the other NASCAR Bristol Motor Speedway event, the Food City 500.
