The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim enjoy one of the most loyal fan bases in all of sports, meaning that Anaheim Angels tickets can be hard to find for some games during the season. In fact in 2011, ESPN magazine ranked the Angels as the number one franchise in all of sports for Fan Value. And at least in their division, the West Division, the Angels have earned their following. Since their establishment, the Angels have won a total of eight West Division titles, and a single World Series championship in 2002 (as well as the American League pennant that same year).

The Angels were first established in 1961, but found their current home in Anaheim in 1966. The Anaheim Angels suffered their worst performances during the 1980s, when the team collapsed despite leading the AL West by 11 games. By the end of the season, the Angels slipped to a tie with the Seattle Mariners, who then defeated the Angels 9-1 to win the AL West championship.

The Angels are hoping that their miracle acquisitions of C.J. Wilson and Albert Pujols (considered the best baseball player of this generation) will lead them through the 2012 season. At the start of the 2012 season, the Angels were voted as the 8-1 favorites to win the World Series.
