Giants Poised for Division Comeback

It was a Cinderella tale gone horribly wrong. The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants team was poised to reach the stratosphere during the 2012 season, and all looked well at the beginning of the year. Then, the second half of play struck. With a 3-5 finish during the latter half of the season, and a nasty shutout against the Falcons, the Gianst missed playoff contention altogether last year. Fans and the national media were dismayed.

2013 provides an opportunity for redemption for the battered team, however, with all eyes on running backs David Wilson and Andre Brown. After fine-tuning their skills during their rookie year, these players are likely to propel the Giants to a promising season. The ever-present talents of Eli Manning are sure to light up the field as the Giants make another run at the NFC East division title.

Fans should keep their eyes peeled for the five prime-time games, including the third meeting between brothers Peyton and Eli Manning. Fans may have to wait a while to watch a home game, though -- five of the first eight games are scheduled on the road. Watch as the Giants strive for giant success this season.
