Philadelphia Phillies Tickets

Philadelphia Phillies tickets have had one name and one city printed on them since the team first formed, making the Phillies the oldest professional team in America to never have changed it's name or left it's original city. But perhaps because of their age, the Phillies have also earned other less shining records, such as the team with the most losses in all of American professional sports. Despite their struggles, the Phillies have enjoyed recent success, winning the East Division title five consecutive times since 2007.

The Phillies were established in 1883 under the name of the "Quakers," but quickly changed their name to the Philadelphias, which was inevitably shortened to the Phillies by the time the team established themselves in the National League. But the team did not have much success until star pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander and batter Gavvy Cravath led the team to their first pennant win in 1915. The Phillies went on to win seven National League pennants and two World Series titles, in 1980 and 2008. Their last pennant win was in 2009.

The Philadelphia Phillies currently play at Citizens Bank Park, but have played in five different ball parks, including their longest stretch at Connie Mack Stadium from 1938-1970 (as well as one year in 1927).
