The Blue Man Group, which was co-created by Chris Wink, Phil Stanton and Matt Goldman, initially started with performances at iconic off-Broadway platforms like LaMaMa. The group really took off when their 1988 performance, which was titled “Funeral for the 80’s” was captured by Kurt Loder, an MTV correspondent. Since then, they have been unstoppable.
