Dead & Company Summer Tour 2017

Just as they did last summer, rock band Dead & Company will return to the stage on Memorial Day weekend in 2017. There are currently 19 shows scheduled for what will only be their third tour. It kicks off in Las Vegas and the band will bring the tour to a close with two shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago on June 30 and July 1.

Dead & Company is comprised of guitarist Bob Weir, drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart -– all of whom were with The Grateful Dead — bassist Oteil Burbridge, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and guitarist John Mayer. Deadheads can rejoice once again, as the positive reviews of the band seem to have a common thread — “Jerry would be proud.” “Jerry,” of course, refers to The Grateful Dead’s vocalist and guitarist, Jerry Garcia, who died in 1995.

Dead & Company seamlessly blends rock, folk, funk, jazz and psychedelia. For those fans that loved the extended jams and groovy vibes of The Grateful Dead, Dead & Company doesn’t disappoint. As they move from song to song, playing hits like “Truckin’,” “Fire on the Mountain,” and “Casey Jones,” as well as other tunes from their righteous set lists, they are bringing positive energy to fans.

The Grateful Dead hit their 50th anniversary in 2015 and retired the band’s name. That wouldn’t silence some members, tough, and Dead & Company was born. Their music impacted more than just the charts, with fans loving shows that often went way past the three-hour mark. Dead & Company continues in the Dead’s spontaneous and inventive musical tradition — just the way Deadheads like it.

Many of the shows next summer will be played at sports stadiums across the country, as more and more people are heading out to see just how close Dead & Company can come to the original band. For those who haven’t caught Dead & Company, it’s certainly worth more than the price of admission. Just ask anyone who has spent a summer night reminiscing about the times he or she had seen The Grateful Dead.

Florida Georgia Line: 2017 “Dig Your Roots” Tour

In 2012, Florida Georgia Line hit the charts with their smash single, “Cruise.” From then on, the duo of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have continued to record hit after hit, accompanied by multiple major award wins from the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music and more. With 3.5 million albums sold worldwide, and nearly 26 million singles, FGL is the first to claim a Diamond-certified single for “Cruise.”

Every one of FGL’s eleven singles have hit number one. The duo’s first two albums, “Anything Goes” and “Here’s to the Good Times,” have earned platinum or double-platinum status. Last year, they sold over 1.5 million tickets.

Their latest album, “Dig Your Roots,” is a bit different from their first two releases; however, those who are diehard fans will appreciate the familiarity. Kelley said of this album, “A lot of things have changed. We’ve grown up, we’ve learned a lot … I think that translate into this music, into this album and into this lifestyle – it’s all one.” Hubbard certainly agrees, saying, “It’s been fun for us to try to better ourselves every day. Whether that’s spiritually, musically, mentally or creatively, that’s really been our goal for the last couple years, and I think our music is doing that as well … It was fun being boys, but we’re trying to be the men we want to be now.” The two are both married and are now contemplating leaving a legacy. The duo is concentrating on putting out songs of all types. They can express their thoughts and hopes for the future and they know that begins with reconnecting to their roots.

Some of FGL’s number one singles include “Anything Goes,” “Sippin’ On Fire,” “Sun Daze,” “Dirt,” and “Confession.” Collaborations over the years have included such performers as Jason Deulo and Nelly. The “Dig Your Roots” will be supported by another tour, with FGL hitting the road in February 2017. Dates will be as necessary, with stops already planned for Orlando, FLorida; Durant, Oklahoma; Bossier City, Louisiana; Biloxi, Mississippi; Omaha, Nebraska; Atlantic City, New Jersey; Springfield, Missouri and Charleston, South Carolina. Tickets go on sale starting Dec. 2, 2016.

Lee Brice and Justin Moore – American Made Tour Beings Jan. 12, 2017

Two of the most dynamic country music stars, Lee Brice and Justin Moore, will bring in the new year in American Made-style with their co-headlined tour in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Jan. 12. Direct support comes from Brett Young and Willian Michael Morgan. This tour comes after Lee Brice’s last tour, “Life Off My Years,” which was the only tour last year to hit all 50 states.

Brice is a prolific songwriter, having written hits for the likes of Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks. In 2010, Brice’s title track from 2010 had the longest run on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, breaking Eddie Arnold’s record from 1948 for “Bouquet of Roses.” The song spent 54 weeks on the chart, and peaked at number 3. His second album, “Hard 2 Love” had four singles hit the top 10 on the Country airplay chart, including the title track, “A Woman Like You” and “Parking Lot Party.” On his third studio album, “I Don’t Dance,” which he produced himself, the title track hit number one. Three other singles hit number one that year, 2014.

Justin Moore will tell you that he only started writing songs because no one would give him any songs when he first got to Nashville. Since then, he’s had two number one songs on the U.S. Hot Country chart, “Small Town USA” and “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” and three number one songs on U.S. Country Airplay chart, “’Til My Last Day,” “Lettin’ the Night Roll,” and “You Look Like I Need a Drink.” In 2014, Moore won the New Artist of the Year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

The American Made tour currently has 25 dates scheduled across the country, including in Mississippi, Missouri, Kentucky, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Both performers will delight tickets buyers with their down-home charm and the personal touch they bring to live concerts.

Excision 2017 Tour

Excision 2017 Tour Featuring The Paradox

Canadian DJ/producer Excision just announced his 2017 Tour featuring The Paradox. Fans have awaited his next tour to North America since 2014, when he unleashed his 150,000-watt bass system. His current 2016 tour has him “down under” in Australia until Dec. 17. His 2017 tour kicks off on Jan. 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada. More dates will be announced, but there are currently 50 shows scheduled through the end of March.

Excision, whose real name is Jeff Able, got his start in the Canadian dubstep scene when he was working with Downlink and Datsik. “No Escape,” his debut single, quickly sold out. Excision received a heap of remix requests from many popular EDM artists. In 2008, the first of the Shambhala mixtapes was released, followed by another each fall. The sixth volume of the set dropped in 2013. His 2013 tour saw his 50-stop tour in North America. By the time the tour was finished, fans were eagerly awaiting Excision’s return. His 2014 tour carried opening acts of Dirtyphonics and ill.Gates. Fans were again in awe of the unforgettable bass, and the projected lights and video that were perfectly synced to the music.

Excision’s video stage, “Executioner,” is one of a kind and is an assault on the senses. His aggressive type of dubstep is perfectly complimented with the “Executioner” and his incredible bass system. Insane laser choreography, 3D visuals and a UFO-like capsule within which Excision himself appears, the “Executioner” is one of the biggest draws in EDM. Minds have melted around the globe as fans try to take in what the “Executioner” puts forth. One anonymous fan said, “The amount of power that the Executioner set up was insane! I could feel bass notes move the hair on my arms.”

For EDM fans, there may be no better tour to attend this year, and there are plenty of locations to choose from, including Orlando, Atlanta, Raleigh, Boston, Cleveland, Houston, Kansas City, Washington D.C., and New York City. While tickets will sell out quickly, you can find the best seats for Excision 2017 Tour Featuring The Paradox still available at Headline Tickets.

Dierks Bentley’s What the Hell World Tour 2017

The first 21 shows have been named for Dierks Bentley’s What the Hell World Tour 2017. The tour will begin in Dayton, Ohio, on Jan. 19 and friends Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi will be his tour mates. Bentley told People magazine that it takes more than just talent to tour with him. It’s also about making him laugh. Bentley said the guys are young and wild and that’s one reason for the name of the tour.

The singer/songwriter has enjoyed critical acclaim with his No. 1-selling album “Black” via Capital Records Nashville. His latest No. 1 Gold single “Different for Girls” followed his smash No. 1 hit, “Somewhere on a Beach.” Bentley has an impressive repertoire, with his seven previous albums selling over 7 million copies, with 15 singles to hit the top of the charts. He’s also been nominated for Grammys 13 times and has multiple CMT, ACM and CMA nominations.

Bentley is a member of the Grand Ole Opry and has been for more than 10 years. He was the 2016 ACM Awards host and Music Row says he has a “reputation as one of the hardest-working entertainers in country music.” He’s also known for connecting with his fans while on stage in ways that many lifelong performers haven’t been able to do.

His latest album, “Black,” has been the inspiration for four short films Bentley has released. The first is for “I’ll Be the Moon.” The second song chosen is “What the Hell Did I Say?” and is the video for the song.

What the Hell World Tour 2017 features shows in Nashville, Tennessee; Hamilton and Vancouver, Canada; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Fresno, California; and Reno, Nevada. This leg of the tour ends at The Willamette Country Music Festival in Brownsville, Oregon.

Bentley is certainly a fan-favorite, so make sure to get your tickets as soon as possible from Headline Tickets for the best rates you’ll find anywhere!
