The Lover Tour: Will the Taylor Swift Show Go On?

Recently, Taylor Swift announced that she would be embarking on a festival tour. Titled, Lover Fest East + West, she tweeted that she wanted to perform it in a way that felt authentic. So, she decided to perform in places she hasn’t been to before. Traveling from Werchter, Belgium to Sao Paulo, Brazil, Swift promised fans a tour of music, fun, and a whole lot of summer sun.  However, with COVID-19, everyone wants to know will the Taylor Swift show still go on? Don’t worry; you can find out all the recent developments right here. Now, are you ready to jump in? Here’s the latest news on the Lover Tour:

Is Taylor Swift “Lover” Tour Canceled or Postponed?

Congrats, Swifties, the tour is still on track! However, that doesn’t mean that it won’t be canceled or postponed at a later date.

Justin Bieber, for example, has already postponed his tour to a later date. His Changes tour was supposed to kick off May 14th. So will Taylor Swift follow the example of other celebrities? It’s too soon to tell.

Although, if she does decide to postpone her tour dates, don’t fret, due to the length of the tour, it shouldn’t be any longer than one to two months. That would put her tour dates into September and October at the latest.

What is Taylor Swift’s Tour Dates?

As it stands now, Lover Fest will start June 20th in Werchter, Belgium, and end near August 1st in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Loyal fans will notice that compared to her other tours, this tour is smaller. Her Reputation stadium tour had six shows in the U.S; however, Lover Fest only contains four dates so far.

Many fans have speculated that more dates will be announced closer to when the tour begins. Thus, don’t worry if you are unavailable to travel to one of her concert locations. There’s still a chance you can see Taylor Swift’s music concert right in your home town.

The North American leg of her tour will begin in July. Taylor will open in the Los Angeles’s new SoFi stadium with back to back shows starting on July 25th. By doing so, she’ll become the first woman in history to open an NFL stadium.

She’ll then head to Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 31st and preform in the Gillette stadium. There she’ll complete two more shows.

Aldean also said, “We’re going to spend some time switching the production up to be bigger and louder than anything we’ve ever done. It’ll be cool to have Chris back out with us, and Kane is the right guy to get the fans riled up.”

In September, Aldean released his latest album, “They Don’t Know,” and he just learned that he will be featured in an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. That exhibit is supposed to go up in May.

While the actual dates for some of the tour stops haven’t been released yet, Aldean has announced that there will be special stops this summer. “Spend the Night with Alice Cooper” Tour

“Spend the Night with Alice Cooper” Tour

Ever considered what it would be like to spend the night with rocker Alice Cooper? Some fans will have that chance when Cooper takes the stage on his “Spend the Night with Alice Cooper” tour, kicking off on April 21 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Fans who purchase VIP tickets will have a chance to spend some time one-on-one with Cooper after the show. The description says the winner will get to enjoy a “balloon toss.” Other stops on the tour include Tupelo, Mississippi, Springfield, Illinois, Norfolk, Virginia, and Durant, Oklahoma. The tour is scheduled to end with a final show in Columbus, Ohio, on May 16.

For more than 50 years, the heavy metal, glam and shock rocker has inspired many others to follow in his footsteps to the darker side of music. He’s still wearing his trademark dripping thick mascara and jet black hair. Some of his hits included “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “I’m Eighteen,” and “School’s Out.” It didn’t take long for Cooper’s magic show-themed concerts to attract a following. In 2011, the original band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Cooper would open for Motley Crue’s final tour in 2014-15. In 2016, Cooper would once again make headlines again as he played his running gag of campaigning for president of the U.S.; however, he purposely goes out of his way not to be political and calls himself “the biggest moderate you know.”

Fans of Alice Cooper can expect the same musical experience as in years before, with terrific magical stunts and some horror thrown in for effect. With his incredible history within the music industry, Cooper is one musician that simply must be seen at least once. Tickets will sell out quickly to this tour and attendees will not be disappointed. Cooper puts his all into each and every show. That keeps fans coming back for more.

“All the Hits” Tour

Lionel Richie “All the Hits” Tour with Mariah Carey

Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey are hitting the road for the “All the Hits” tour. This is the first time the two have toured together and it’s the first time Carey has toured North America in over six years. With more than 35 dates in play already, fans will have little trouble seeing these two stars at their favorite venues.

The tour kicks off on March 15 in Baltimore, Maryland. The final show as of now is scheduled for Vancouver, British Columbia, on April 27. Currently, there are only two shows scheduled outside of the U.S. The other is in Toronto, Ontario, on March 30.

Richie, who is now 67 years old, is headlining the show, and, according to the Pasadena Star News, it’s because he’s “hotter” now than Carey. His 2012 album Tuskegee — which was the first time he’s ventured into country music — went platinum and hit No. 1. Carey has had a more successful career: Her two recent albums sold 700,000 copies combined. Each of her albums before went platinum. She only needs a single at No. 1 for one more week to pass the artist with the most weeks at No. 1: Elvis Presley.

As the former crooner of The Commodores from the late 60s to early 80s, Richie saw great, classic singles hit No. 1, with “Brick House” and “Three Times a Lady.” In 1986, he won an Academy Award for “Say You, Say Me” when it was used in the movie, “White Nights.”

Carey has won five Grammys, 19 World Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards and 15 Billboard Music Awards. Her five-octave range earned her the title of “songbird supreme” by Guinness World Records.

Fans everywhere are sure to enjoy the mix of these two hitmakers as they take the stage for “All the Hits.” Shows are certain to sell out quickly, but competitively priced tickets can be found at Headline Tickets!
